Hey there, readers. By the time you’re reading this, I’m probably already on the plane (or just on the way) towards Germany or Japan. I just wanted to tell you all that the spam is now over, and I will revert to weekly posting in the weekend regarding relevant experiences in that specific week. You can no longer contact me through telephone, but email@example.com will still be checked daily. Before I want to end this post, however, I just want to finish up the last things that were on my mind. I’ve been working on some series a long time ago, but I didn’t even take the effort of putting them on this site. That’s why I’ll give each series a short notice on this blog. I’ve realized that I’m not fit for long posts; I lack the time for that, so I’m dropping the idea of release posts, and I might just give short opinions on series as they air/when I see them.
I totally did not realize that I posted lyrics of the opening and ending for this series, but I never wrote a release post for this series yet. Even though it’s my number one visual novel so far. Because I already know the story and it’s probably better conveyed in the visual novel anyway, I feel that the anime doesn’t have that much of an impact. Riki also has another voice actor than in the VN, although he only speaks there when the story isn’t narrated from his point of view.
So a 2 weeks ago, I even posted something about the second ending of this series in the anime, while we’re not even that far ahead in translating the episodes. That feels kind of awkward in retrospect. If you want to see updated episodes, just go to UTW or something. There’s bound to be a second season later on, focusing on the new routes and of course, the Refrain (which is identical to the After Story sequence in Clannad).
Why are we so many episodes behind, I wonder. Yes, I know, it’s the same problem as Sigh’s Magi… We’re missing a translator. Same for this series, I’m being asked to check the CR translations later on… Although that spoils a bit of the translating fun, I guess I could give it a go. Just like putting all the interesting translation notes of the past 6 episodes all in one post. Just read on to see.
Sorry for being slow 😀
This is an old ova from april 25th 2012.
What my leader said should tell us enough. Yet, we were one of the first ones to release this episode. In fact, I believe Doki is still working on it. It’s in their working topic the last time I looked at it. In any case, here’s your very last helping of Kore wa Zombie desu ka (unless you read the light novel). As you can expect, it makes no sense, but then again, what in this anime does.
Errm, right. I know, this series is already finished for months, blah blah blah. I’ve been busy. Go watch some anime while I catch up with my posts or something. Or watch my other posts, I think that would help me even more. Just placing this here because I have to. I guess I got an OCD in terms of World of Goo: Obsessive Completion Distinction. For people who want some extra TLC notes, they’re really outdated, but I hope they’re worth the read. I’m trying to move on real fast now, as I have to get this posts done by the end of the weak. (I’m just making life harder and harder…)
Oh, next post will contain the songs that were played in episode 9, so please check it out if you like lyrics. I apologize that they’re not full length…I just don’t have the time for that. I’m only doing what’s my job to do…Someone should pay me for this! Again, just kidding. And before I forget: Yeah these are actually the last episode. I already found 8 a weird number when Black Rock Shooter finished, but 10 sounds even weirder. I guess they ran out of budget.
As Hatsuyuki’s TLC, I present you the 8th episode of Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? OF THE DEAD! I know the series is long over, but I’m working on a nicer way to present my posts with this one. We still have to release episode 9, 10 and the OVA, and it doesn’t seem like any great group has released it yet as well. You… could go for Hadena, but that’s seriously not recommended. Not that I hate Hadena (well, maybe a bit), but they’re going for quantity instead of quality. Why are people so eager for fast releases? You might as well watch raw episodes then, since the speedsubs just make 50% of the whole story.
Although this one is being stalled for so long, I can’t disagree if you just switch over to another group. Though, I still hope you’ll have a nice visit here, if you did read this all. Of course, TL notes visible if you read further, but be warned for spoilers!
