[Dropped Review] Katawa Shōjo

I dropped this review because I had a writer’s block and I partially felt like this post didn’t belong on my blog, but now I want to get rid of everything I have written before. Not the mention that I actually mention the media of Visual Novels in my “About Me” page, so I should just put up with all the criticism (if any). That said, this review is a year old and my opinion might already have expired by now, but I hope it still gives some enlightenment on the matter.

Have you ever heard of Visual Novels? If you don’t, and you don’t happen to mind reading about sensitive matters, you should at least try Katawa Shōjo. Maybe just to get you into this strange media called Visual Novels. I can quite recommend it, even if its quite criticized for its mediocre writing style and its controversy about the naming of the game.

In other words, I’m really bored at the moment, although I still have some things to take care of in the holidays: my university thought it was a good idea to place deadlines and resits in the midst of the holidays.

[News] “Little Busters!” Anime Announced!

You might have noticed my new main banner, which is taken from this promotional video of Little Busters!

The moment we were all – at least I – was waiting for. After at least 4 and a half years, it finally gets its own anime adaptation (and this is not a joke). For the people who are unaware of what this masterpiece actually is: It’s yet another melodramatic Visual Novel produced by KEY, who have also done Air, Kanon and Clannad (and Angel Beats, but that one does not fit in the melodramatic timeline, as it’s more or less an individual creation by Jun Maeda. And then there’s also Rewrite, but we’ll hear about that adaptation after some years). Anyway, a short synopsis about the plot of Little Busters!:
