[Sigh-Shinbunbu] Mahō Tsukai Nara, Miso wo Kue!

[youtube=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1T8kB2nF3BI”]

Original post here.

Also known as “If You’re A Wizard, Eat Miso!” In all honesty, I did not really like working on it due to the low quality sound output and the awful fanservice scenes in between. But this marks my first non-pv release of Sigh Subs. The song is really catchy, as it’s done by livetune…Don’t mind the autotuning, it still sounds nice nonetheless!

So this is some advertising for the first 2 light novels, as this short OVA contains most of the scenes. It’s about miso being a form of materialized magic. You could call it MP in short. Miso Points, instead of Mana Points. The more miso, the stronger you are. The whole logic behind it isn’t really logical at all. So just sit back, and laugh your ass off about how silly this one is. You could just watch the OVA on Youtube without the subs, but we would like it if you read on to find the torrent link…and the OP/ED lyrics (it’s just one song, so don’t sweat it)!

Also, it’s just annoying how they fill the time with fanservice after every skit…But yeah, since 2010 it’s really the hype to add fanservice to series which is totally unneeded. Them Japanese otakus…

[AnimeSenshi] Robotics;Notes PV

[youtube=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wkbtc9qbEWQ”]

Original post here.

This is going to be my shortest post ever, so I’ll make it quick. This is my first release at AnimeSenshi, but I will not take on this series as main translator. Next season I’ll probably be changing the script of Crunchyroll for the upcoming best anime of the year (I hope): Little Busters! AnimeSenshi’s leader kindly asked if I could translate this PV in the mean time, and because it’s so short, I could not really refuse. As a matter of fact, I’m currently working for them this season. You’ll notice some posts later on.

Robotics;Notes does seem interesting, however. I should watch Steins;Gate before beginning with this one though.

[Summer 2012] Translating Projects

All right, here’s a short summary of what I’m working on this season. Hence why I’m calling this post “Translating Projects” instead of the usual “Anime Expectations”. I’m really behind on anime since I also have a part-time job to carry out every day, so I can’t give a nice excerpt of every single anime that is airing at the moment. But I can at least show you guys what you can expect on my site the following weeks.

What would be even nicer, is if you would take a visit at my dropbox public folder, which has been simplified to http://www.mandoran.tk. There you can see what I’m working on in detail, with all my reports I’ve made so far. Yes, in the days my server was online, updating my dropbox site was a nice alternative. Well then, up to the three series I’m working on this season.

[AFFTW-Hatsuyuki] Cube x Cursed x Curious OVA

I have never touched C³, Cube x Cursed x Curious, before…But here I am, checking the translations of an OVA of this series. Sounds quite illogical for a TLC, and it frankly is. Usually Quality Checkers are the ones who are hopping from one series to another, but really wanted a check on guesslations before releasing this episode. Not that I was forced to do this episode though; C³ is on my watchlist, and I might watch it in the summer vacation, which isn’t that far away any more. Hatsuyuki is ever needing additional staff members — even when they’re having a joint with other subgroups, in this case Anime Fans For The Win. And it’s becoming worse: For the next 14 days, they’ll be missing me as their TLC as well. I need to invest my time in my academic papers and cramming kanji for the upcoming exams next week. I hope I can keep this site a bit active in the mean time.

[Anime] Expectations of Spring 2012

Here, I’ll shortly note the anime I’ll either be working on or just watching this season. It actually doesn’t have any popular anime in it, making it a fairly weak season. One of the Big Three, Bleach, seems to have stopped at the moment and will come back with a second series sooner or later. Fate/Zero continues its gory episodes with a second series, but what will I watch? To write down my whole backlog is too much of a pain, so here are the ongoing anime and the anime of previous season I’m going to watch.
