[Sigh-Kaylith] Haitai Nanafa 7

See, now I’m perfectly on schedule. My idea in general is to release one to two days after the release post is made at the original fansub group’s blog, so I can prepare some TLC notes to write down in my post, get some in-line screenshots and of course, deliver an actual download link. So there you have it, episode 7 of Haitai Nanafa. Next episode will take a bit more time due to a large amount of typesetting work.

[Sigh-Kaylith] Haitai Nanafa 6

I hereby present to you, the 6th episode of Haitai Nanafa. Due to queued posts, this one came in a little bit later than I had planned, but it’s best when I place posts on a daily base. Putting everything on the site at one time might cause a flood and a week of nothingness afterwards, which really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Future episodes are bound to be released soon as the encodes are about ready.

[Sigh-Kaylith] Haitai Nanafa 5

I present to you, episode 5 of the Okinawan mythology series, Haitai Nanafa. This episode shows somewhat the spiritual side of traditions in Okinawa. To fill up the introductory space here (not really, I just forgot to make a screenshot), let me already introduce one of the strange words that appear in the vocabulary. I’m pointing at the word “Agaa” (ouch). Don’t you think it’s strange when this girl is saying “itai toki wa agaa!” If agaa means ouch, why would they still use the word “itai”, meaning pain? (Since the Japanese just literally say “itai” when they’re hurt)

At least, I think it’s kind of strange.

This one has some more notes for you, luckily. That is, when you’re up for reading notes. You can also just go ahead and download the episode right below if haven’t done so yet. Of course, it’s best if you read the notes after you’ve watched the release. Or confront me directly. That’s no problem as well.

Many interesting scenes occur in this episode. Nao seems to be the favourite character in both the anime and in real life as well, apparently. Who’s your favourite character? I’m actually quite fond of this introduced character in this episode. You’ll hear why (or by reading the notes).

We’re on a roll. Another episode of Haitai Nanafa, the short but pretty funny series. It’s really fun to work on it, since it’s just a bit different from the work I usually get.

Baseball just seems the thing in Japan. And that’s not limited to the main islands it seems. Even Okinawa likes to join the hype. Koushien Stadium is like, the number 1 famous stadium when talking about baseball. If Okinawa would actually get to there with their team, even I would be surprised.
