Hey there, readers. By the time you’re reading this, I’m probably already on the plane (or just on the way) towards Germany or Japan. I just wanted to tell you all that the spam is now over, and I will revert to weekly posting in the weekend regarding relevant experiences in that specific week. You can no longer contact me through telephone, but firstname.lastname@example.org will still be checked daily. Before I want to end this post, however, I just want to finish up the last things that were on my mind. I’ve been working on some series a long time ago, but I didn’t even take the effort of putting them on this site. That’s why I’ll give each series a short notice on this blog. I’ve realized that I’m not fit for long posts; I lack the time for that, so I’m dropping the idea of release posts, and I might just give short opinions on series as they air/when I see them.
And another job well done. I’m really glad I got to work with this awesome group, they really keep me motivated to TLC stuff, even though it might take some time here and there. While I enjoyed Dog Days —the first season— more than this season, I cannot say I disliked watching this. It’s a light and happy anime, so it’s quite nice if you perhaps watched some horror movie before. As I’m quite the linguist, I also transcribed some Flonyard script while I was at it.
I’m not sure yet what I’m working on just yet next season, but you’ll hear it very soon. But first, I’m going to watch some anime myself!
Only one more episode to go after this one, and I’m pretty close to the original airing times now, so I think I finally caught up with my blog! Of course, I’ll have to keep up the pace. We’ll see how it will go. This episode also contains an insert song which will be included in a separate post. I noticed that people actually find this blog through my lyrics, so my interest in translating is slowly shifting towards anime songs. Karaoke aside, this episode is pretty interesting. Made me think as if this episode was some kind of dungeon crawler simulator. On the other side, I was reminded of the grand library at Mahou Sensei Negima. I’m in need of more fantasy/magic setting anime. Any recent recommendations? Sword Art Online is already on the list.
Hey, I’m actually getting closer to the actual release dates! Awesome! That, combined with a funny episode this time, makes it quite worth the effort. This episode is all about what you see above. Crossdressing. Well, not exactly. More like genderbending. But it’s almost the same, right? Hilarity ensues.
Only a few more to go! Yet another battle between the three countries: Galette, Biscotti and Pastillage. This time, it seems like some sort of three-way free-for-all match, where everyone can basically attack everyone. The event is called Union Festa, or Union Festival as the editor tries to make of it every time. There’s no difference in festa though, as it means festival. In Italian. What a surprise!
